The SSU is the Swedish Social Democratic Youth League. Their goal is to liberate people everywhere by creating a world where everyone is given the opportunity to realize their innermost dreams. In 2013, the SSU realized they lacked a unified brand identity since they had not paid much attention to it for ten years. With the Swedish general election coming up, they decided to act.
Snask transformed the fractured SSU brand platform, giving it a brand-spanking-new unified graphic identity. Their new look, carefully crafted to garner attention at first glance, was launched 6 months before the Swedish general election. It gave the SSU’s 10,000-strong members the right communications tools for various touchpoints of political activity. Most importantly, we unified all members of SSU under one proud brand and one coherent graphic identity. The new graphic identity has proved flexible and easy to manage. It’s been seen on numerous platforms: in TV-adverts, in the Pride Parade, in printed campaign material and in thousands of grassroots campaigns all over Sweden.
