BACKGROUND:
Sneakersnstuff (SNS) has brick and mortar stores in Stockholm, NY, Berlin, Paris, London and Los Angeles. Online, their web shop sells sneakers and other goods to over 70 different countries. It has been named Fashion Shop of the Year, Young Fashion Store of the Year, and has won E-Commerce of the Year by the Nordic region’s largest fashion magazine Habit. They are renowned in the sneaker industry and have formed a healthy habit of collaborating on exclusive sneaker designs for the leading brands in the industry, like Adidas.
THE CASE:
SNS and Adidas Originals dropped an exclusive shoe together, the new I- 5923 Pack. Inspired by 80’s and 90’s running sneakers, the adidas I-5923 features a full Boost midsole and cool vintage style. But what’s at the heart of this sneaker is it’s beyond-soft touch, snug slipper-like comfort and full Boost cushioning. One could argue they are as cozy as kittens. So, we made a film that was both purrrfect for the shoe, and a cheap (but welcomed) low blow to the hearts of anyone who can’t fend off cute kittens. We designed the set, directed the kittens, and also designed the furry typeface for the “Cozy as Kittens” message, to further drive the shoe’s cozy appeal.
